Atos launches three FinTech offerings for financial services industry
Technology services company Atos has launched three new FinTech propositions. FinLab, a cloud-based platform to facilitate the creation of new joint services; FinHub, a FinTech on-boarding program, and; FinNet, an insights and trends knowledge portal.
The three new offerings are part of Atos’s global FinTech Partner programme, which is the firm’s umbrella for its financial technology-related consulting, technology and systems services, and solutions offerings for the financial services industry. The Paris-headquartered company established the arm to better serve its clients including banks, insurance firms and financial institutions in dealing with the growing digital-led disruptive forces they are facing.
“In today’s competitive landscape, financial institutions need to offer new ways to create value in order to survive and thrive. Our investment in FinTech services shows our commitment to support financial institutions by facilitating partnerships, fostering co-innovation and bringing to market new services that differentiate their business and enable growth,” said Dan Cohen, Group Senior Vice President at Atos for Global Financial Services.
Among the challenges that financial institutions are facing are changing consumer behaviour, the rapid rise of innovation, the need for more agility, and, as they transform their operations to meet the needs of the ‘new normal’, the burden of legacy systems. In a bid to better serve these and other needs, Atos has added three new propositions to its FinTech portfolio:
FinLab is a hybrid cloud-based platform which enables banks, insurers and their selected FinTech partners to develop new services. The offering also allows clients to create customer-specific end-to-end journeys (loans origination, My Finance Pal 2.0, and Digital Assistant), which combine bundled services and APIs of various FinTech solutions.
With FinHub, FinTechs get access to an extensive network of major financial services companies with full legal and go-to-market support from Atos, to develop a collaborative offering that will drive joint business growth, in a fast-track onboarding program of two to four weeks. Financial services businesses benefit from access to a large community of quality-assured FinTechs.
FinNet: the knowledge portal offers insight into the rapidly-changing FinTech landscape from around the world, nourished by research from dedicated market and customer intelligence teams as well as the expertise of over 130 global experts of Atos.
Atos’s FinTech Partner programme works closely together with the firm’s financial services arm, subsidiary Worldline (a payments provider) and FinTech partners, which include among others Backbase, Moven, NGdata, Customer Matrix, Friss, e-BankIT and AcceptEasy.
