Atos adds over 600 Salesforce consultants in France and US
Atos has significantly beefed up its Salesforce capabilities with the acquisition of two mid-sized consultancies in the France and the United States, adding over 600 consultants to its ranks.
The move is part of Atos’ strategy to invest in high growth areas, said Yannick Tricaud, who leads the firm’s operations in Southern Europe. “Cloud and Salesforce continue to be driving forces of growth for Atos and we’re excited with these additions.”
In home country France – Atos is listed on the Paris stock exchange – the global IT services company purchased Edifixio, a cloud and Salesforce consulting and integration company with 370 consultants working from offices in France, India, Tunisia and the US.
Founded in 2000, Edifixio supports clients in mainly the retail, manufacturing, insurance and business services sectors with designing, developing and integrating solutions within the cloud environment. The firm partners with several big technology vendors such as Amazon Web Services, IBM, Microsoft Azure and Oracle, but is best known for its track record in the Salesforce space.
“We share the same vision for digital transformation as Atos,” said Michel Bolze, CEO of Edifixio. “We are confident that our combined capabilities offer substantial value to our clients, as well as fantastic opportunities for our team.”
Meanwhile, in the US, Atos acquired Eagle Creek, a Minnesota based technology and management consulting company specialized in Salesforce implementations for its customers across North America. Eagle Creek has more than 250 employees – collectively, they have more than 700 Salesforce and CRM certifications and so-called ‘super badges’.
Eagle Creek adds a roster of Fortune 1,500 customers in the healthcare, financial services and insurance and communication sectors to the portfolio of Atos in the US. “It will provide us the opportunity to develop a world-class Atos Salesforce franchise and provides us an ability to help clients manage and enhance their customer journey,” said Bryan Ireton, Chief Executive Officer of Atos in North America.
Ken Behrendt, the boss of Eagle Creek said, “We are confident that joining Atos will significantly aid our pursuit to help businesses better organise and access customer data, as well as support our employees and consultants continue their careers with new challenges and growth.”
Globally, Atos has been on an acquisition frenzy in the past ten months, closing eight deals so far, including last week’s bolt-on of European cybersecurity specialist SEC Consult.
