PwC Norway partner Ole-Alexander Palm joins Seafood People

Ole-Alexander Palm, a partner at Big Four firm PwC in Norway, is joining Seafood People. 

Palm has been with the Big Four firm since 2014, and became a partner in the summer of 2019. He currently is a partner in the Strategy service line within the Consulting division, leading strategy development and mergers & acquisitions related advisory services. He also serves as Head of the Strategy practice of PwC’s Bergen office. 

Prior to serving PwC, he was Chief Operating Office of salmon producer Bolaks, and worked for Capgemini Invent (then Capgemini Consulting), among others. Ole-Alexander Palm holds a master's degree in finance from the Norwegian School of Economics.

Per the 1st of January, Palm will join Seafood People, a Norwegian recruitment and advisory company. Palm will head the firm’s to be launched management consultancy division, according to reporting from IntraFish, in a move which marks the “next chapter of growth” for Seafood People, said Managing Partner Thomas Bakke.

“By adding consulting capabilities to our executive network and recruitment services, we will be a one-stop-shop for the critical competencies needed by the seafood industry.” This multi-billion industry comprises all players in the seafood value chain, spanning fish farms, manufacturers, distributors and retailers. 

“We’re redefining the consulting approach and looking for great talent to join us on this adventure,” said Bakke, adding that the professional services group is currently seeking to hire three to four full-time consultants to its team in Norway.
