Heidrick & Struggles appoints leaders across 5 European countries
As part of a wider round of leadership appointments globally, human capital professional services firm Heidrick & Struggles has named new leaders across five of its mainland offices in Europe.
In Italy, the German Tim Lüdke has been appointed Regional Leader of Growth Markets – a newly created role at Heidrick & Struggles to reflect the growing importance of upcoming markets to its portfolio. Lüdke, who is a partner, has been with the firm for six years, and previously was the regional leader for its Strategic Growth Markets segment and Head of the Technology & Services Practice in EMEA.

Also in Italy, Niccolo Calabresi has been promoted to Cluster Leader for Italy and Iberia. He already was in charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Milan office, and now also takes the reins for the office in Madrid, Spain. He will work closely with Stefano Salvatore, already managing director of Heidrick & Struggles’ in Portugal, who has seen his remit expanded to include leading Spain.
In the DACH region, Zurich-based Wolfgang Schmidt-Soelch has been appointed the Regional Managing Partner Europe & Africa of the Financial Services practice, while Nicolas von Rosty has been installed as the boss for the German operations, based out of the Munich office. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Von Rosty among others served as Corporate Vice President of Executive Development at Siemens.
Rounding off the six appointments, Brussels-based Fabrice Lebecq has been installed as the new Regional Managing Partner EMEA of the Industrial practice. Lebecq, who also leads the European Supply Chain & Operations Officers practice, has a background in industry – previously, he spent nearly 20 years in the chemical industry at Dow Corning, Honeywell, and DSM.
