Michael Majster joins Arthur D. Little as a partner in Belgium
After serving Accenture in Belgium for sixteen years, Michael Majster has left the firm to join global strategic consultancy Arthur D. Little.
Appointed a partner in Arthur D. Little’s Technology & Innovation Management (TIM) practice, Michael Majster has been tasked with expanding the firm’s client base and project portfolio in Belgium and the broader Benelux region. He will to this end work closely with Arthur D. Little’s offices in Amsterdam and Paris.
The Technology & Innovation Management practice helps clients across sectors with three main offerings: building ecosystem capabilities including venturing and partnerships, optimising innovation management across the full research & development lifecycle; and helping clients design and realise breakthrough innovations.
As for any segment in today’s world, technology has become a strategic enabler. Arthur D. Little’s approach blends the best of the worlds of strategy, technology and people to deliver results at its clients.
“These challenging times demonstrate how critical innovation and digital are, and I am extremely excited to join a company that is committed to these topics. I look forward to use my experience to help the firm’s clients thrive in the digital world,” said Majster.
While he had “16 fantastic years at Accenture”, he said that he is thrilled to join a company that is “at the forefront of innovation, and is renowned for its cutting edge services.” Founded 135 years ago, Arthur D. Little ranks according to Consultancy.org as one of the globe’s top consultancies for innovation management.
At Accenture, Majster latterly was Managing Director of Technology Resources for France and Benelux, and before that, he was a member of the Belgium and Luxembourg Executive Committee. He specialises in digital transformation, IT strategy and innovation, business agility, and change management.
Majster works mainly for clients in the Utilities, Chemicals, Natural Resources and Energy industries, and has a close working relationship with companies such as Engie, EDF, Shell and Total.
Vincent Bamberger, Managing Partner of Arthur D. Little's Paris and Brussels offices, said of the partner appointment: “We believe our entrepreneurial work environment will be a great fit for Michael. He also possesses the flexibility of thought to deliver a targeted, personalised service to our clients [rather than a one-size-fits-all approach], and I look forward to working with him.”
