Jérôme Sevin and Patrick Brown practice leaders at Kearney
Global management consulting Kearney has installed a duo at the helm of its European Energy & Process Industry practice.
Based in Kearney’s Paris, Jérôme Sevin is a senior partner who has been with the consulting firm since 2016. Sevin specialises in energy markets and energy transition, and will take the reins of the Energy service line.
Commenting on the firm’s offering, Sevin said: “At Kearney, our strengths lie in our ability to build a lasting strategic vision as well as to mobilise our spirit of innovation and our digital ecosystem. I am delighted to be able to continue to work in this direction with all of our European teams, whom I would like to thank once again for their excellence and their daily commitment to support our clients.”
Earlier in his career, Sevin spent a decade at Schlumberger Business Consulting, where he advised large European oil companies on strategic and operational matters, particularly in exploration and production. Before that, he worked for Oliver Wyman and Celerant Consulting (now Hitachi Consulting).
Düsseldorf-based Patrick Brown has been named the other co-practice leader – he will be in charge of the Process Industry portfolio with a focus on the chemicals sector. He has been with the firm since 2014, when he joined Kearney from Roland Berger where he worked for five years. Earlier in his career, Brown gained experience at Capgemini Invent and minerals manufacturer K+S Group.
He specialises in transformation related work, including strategic realignment, cost optimisation, supply chain, purchasing and change management initiatives at enterprises in the (specialty) chemicals, sugar and agricultural industries.
The duo succeed the German Tobias Lewe, a 21-year company veteran, senior partner and member of Kearney’s Global Board of Directors.
On the leadership shuffle, Geir Olsen, Partner & Head of Europe at Kearney said: “It’s a great pleasure to welcome Jerome and Patrick as new leaders of our Kearney Energy & Process Industry Practice in Europe. I also want to take this opportunity to thank Tobias Lewe for this outstanding leadership over the years.”
