Kearney promotes Roger van Engelen to partner in Amsterdam
Kearney has promoted lifelong company member Roger van Engelen to partner in the Netherlands.
Based in the firm’s Amsterdam office, one of Kearney 40+ offices globally (Kearney is one of the globe’s largest strategic consulting firms), Roger van Engelen is now a partner in the Consumer Products & Retail practice. “His promotion is a testament of his contribution to our clients and the trust placed in him by the partnership, said Remko de Bruijn, a partner in the Amsterdam office.
Van Engelen started his career at Quintel Strategy Consulting after completing his studies at Maastricht University, and spent four years with the boutique firm before it was acquired by Kearney in 2011. During his fourteen year career in consulting, Van Engelen gained extensive experience across strategy, top-line growth, performance improvement and transformation.
He specialises in helping retailers and large players in the consumer products landscape with business transformation, mergers & acquisitions and post merger integration, cost improvement, procurement, business model innovation, marketing & sales, technology, and digital transformation. He also has delivered several engagements in the e-commerce, and lottery & gambling industries.
His track record includes leading and supporting projects in the Netherlands and Europe, as well as Asia, Australia and the United States.
In its year start promotions round at the start of 2021, Kearney’s Dutch office admitted three members to its partnership: Alexander Tamminga (also an ex-Quintel Strategy Consulting consultant), Maria de Kleijn (ex-McKinsey) and Jos van Iwaarden.
Meanwhile, in other summer promotions in the Amsterdam office, Wieneke Bastet and Eline Leermakers were promoted to Senior Business Analyst, Kristoffel Bauweraerts, Sjoerd ten Brinke, Lara Leclercq, Mafalda Monteiro, Oklend Murati, Leonard van Thiel, Cedrick Veryser and Jasmijn Vogelzang were promoted to Associate, and Guillaume De Lescluze has been elevated to Manager.
