Metyis appoints six new partners across five European offices

Building on its growth in 2022, Metyis has expanded its leadership with seven new partners, six of which are based in Europe. A round-up of the new partners and their areas of expertise. 

Ashish Dang and Chanda Yarborough have both been promoted to partner in the Amsterdam office of Metyis.

A member of the Data & Digital practice, Dang helps the firm’s clients embed digitisation across their value chains, with a focus on data science solutions. Prior to joining Metyis in 2016, he held roles in banking, technology and data science. Dang: “I seek to make an impact by growing our partnership proposition in the field of data and ecommerce. To make this happen we need to continuously invest in our people, grow the team, invest in new skills, and invest in new leaders.”

Metyis appoints six new partners across five European offices

Chanda Yarborough is a strategy and execution professional with over 20 years of experience in the consulting industry. Having previously worked withAccenture for more than 17 years in the United States, India, and Spain, Yarborough joined Metyis in 2018 where she focuses on topics including operating model and organisation design and transformation programs.

Yarborough: “At Metyis, we work with many amazing clients, and it’s great to build meaningful partnerships with them. As a partner, I look forward to continuing to do this and actively working to grow our company and the next generation of leaders.”

In Spain, Pablo Olivares has been appointed to partner in the Madrid office. He brings over 15 years of experience in consultancy to the partnership, gained at Axis Corporate and Alfa Consulting and since 2014, at Metyis. A computer engineer by background, Olivares helps clients redesign and digitise their commercial operations backed by technology enablement.

Olivares: “As a partner, my goal is to help the company make its values tangible for both customers and employees. This means building meaningful partnerships with clients that are aligned with those values and trying to make Metyis the best place to work for everyone.”

In Switzerland, Zurich-based Mari-Carmen Marx has been elevated to the leadership team. She joined Metyis in 2021 through the acquisition of Boydak Strategy Consulting. “When I look at Metyis, there are really two things that stand out for me: first of all, the quality and depth of work that we can do for our partners; and second, just the amazing network of highly talented people that we have on a global scale.”

Marx specialises in large-scale transformation projects and innovation strategy and execution, as well as digital transformation and emerging technologies, particularly in the health, financial services, and consumer goods industries.

London-based Peter Butler brings 25 years of experience in data analytics and data science to the partnership. On his mission with the firm, he said: “That is to try and make Metyis the very best place to work that any of us have ever experienced. I believe that we can do that by being focused and committed to each other and to our clients, and I very much look forward to the journey as a partner.”

Butler leads the firm’s Data practice in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining the firm 2021, he held senior positions at consulting firms (EY, HCL Technologies), digital and creative agencies (dunnhumby and Proximity) and a retailer (Staples).

Rounding off the list, Serkan Güner has been appointed partner in the Istanbul office. He joined the firm in 2021, after fifteen years at Big Four firm PwC, where he built an extensive track record in finance and risk management. Earlier in his career, Güner spent over a dozen years at banking institutions including Goldman Sachs, ABN Amro and Wells Fargo.

Güner: “I'm committed to bringing together all the doers and implementers under the Metyis roof and guiding them towards success. It is my belief that talent, teamwork, and intelligence can pave the way towards significant accomplishments.”

Outside of Europe, Metyis promoted eCommerce expert Keshav Chawla to partner in India.
