New boutique consultancy launches: We are impact Collective
A new boutique consultancy, with a presence in Belgium and the Netherlands, has launched. We Are Impact Collective aims to provide ESG and sustainability consulting to companies looking to improve their performance and social impact.
Experts from different backgrounds joined to form the new consultancy, which will offer professional services in the areas of leadership, impact investing, scaling planetary and societal solutions, strategy, ESG, philanthropy, venture building, inner development goals, circularity, distributivity, or inclusiveness.
We Are Impact Collective founder Astrid Leyssens said that the firm, which operates as a network consultancy, brings together a multi-disciplinary approach from various disciplines because “the issues we work on are interconnected”, adding that the firm bills itself as a consultant with a pragmatic, can-do attitude.
“Our team comprises experts from different backgrounds and experiences, including impact investors, sustainability professionals, venture specialists, leadership advisors, finance, philanthropists, communications and business development experts, and experts in guiding impact-first companies,” she explained.
In its work with clients, the firm focuses on mid-sized businesses, family offices, non-profits, and investment groups.
Founder Leyseens has many years of experience in the field, having previously worked at venture capital firm VP Capital, where she worked on a board that initiated ESG solutions. She also worked with Amsterdam-based Pymwymic, a group dedicated to impact investment.
Impact investing is a type of investment strategy that aims to produce financial gains while simultaneously having a beneficial effect on society or the environment. Corporate social responsibility and ESG goals come first for proponents of impact investing.
In addition to offering advisory services, We Are Impact Collective also provides counsel around leadership; organisational change; ESG reporting and certification; storytelling and communication; training, philanthropy; and venturing.
