BrazilMetyis achieves B Corp certification in Spain
Multinational management and data firm Metyis has hit a milestone in its Spanish business, achieving B Corp certification.
The Spanish arm of Metyis, which has offices in Madrid and Barcelona, has already been part of the B-Lab community for a while, actively participating in initiatives that place social and environmental performance at the centre of its operations.
Now, as a certified B Corp, Metyis demonstrates to its employees, clients and other stakeholders that it operates at the forefront of ESG, on the back of a purpose that prioritises the well-being of people and the planet.
In the assessment, Metyis scored 86 out of 100 possible points, with top scores in areas such as mission-driven leadership, ethical practices, transparency, and governance.

The B Corp certification is awarded by B Lab, a non-profit organisation, to companies that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Unlike traditional business models that primarily focus on shareholder value, B Corps are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on all stakeholders: their employees, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment.
Globally, around 6,000 companies have been B Corp certified, and notably, companies need to maintain high standards to ensure re-certification every two years.
