Magnus Energy appoints Glenn Janssen as new leader of Ciratum
Magnus Energy has per the 1st of January 2025 appointed Glenn Janssen as the new Managing Director of its subsidiary Ciratum.
The new leader of Ciratum, which has around 55 consultants, brings close to two decades of experience in the consulting sector to the firm. He started his career at Accenture, where he spent fifteen years growing the ranks in its Energy & Utilities practice, and then moved on to Valcon, where he currently serves an associate partner.
Janssen has extensive experience in in the energy sector, especially at the intersection of business and IT. “I’ve worked on many projects, from implementing a new SCADA system to acting as an information risk business manager. More recently, I’ve overseen several projects for government bodies responsible for compensating damages caused by mining activities in the Netherlands.”
In his new role, Janssen has been tasked with further growing Ciratum, which was acquired by Magnus Energy in August but operates under its own banner. The firm specialises in business and IT implementation programs in the energy and utilities sectors. He will also spearhead areas of collaboration between Ciratum and Magnus Energy, including joint offerings and project delivery.
Janssen succeeds Rudolf Das, who founded Ciratum in 2008 and has moved on to a new adventure. “I’m delighted to welcome Glenn to our leadership team. His expertise will be invaluable to both our clients and our team. He will be a worthy successor for Rudolf, and I’m confident that Ciratum will continue to thrive under Glenn’s capable leadership,” said Alexander van der Mark, Managing Director of Magnus Energy.
Asked about his ambitions for the coming period, Janssen said: “As we grow, it’s crucial that we enjoy our work and achieve success as a team.
