Valcon appoints former banking CIO Bart Leurs as Head of Technology
Valcon has appointed Bart Leurs – the former Chief Information Officer of Rabobank – as its new Head of Technology.
Bart Leurs joins the consulting firm on February 1st, 2025, assuming responsibility of the technology services portfolio. He will lead teams in seven countries and become a member of the management team.
Leurs succeeds Paul ten Haaf who recently moved to head up Valcon’s Southeast European division. “Valcon’s approach resonates with my philosophy – that true digital transformation is not just about adopting new technologies, but about changing how organisations operate and deliver value to their customers.”
With over 20 years of experience in digital and technology transformation, Leurs brings a heavyweight profile to Valcon. In his most recent roles at Rabobank, he served Chief Digital Transformation Officer and latterly Chief Innovation and Technology Officer. Before Rabobank, Leurs spent over fifteen years at ING, holding executive positions at ING and ING Direct in different countries.
At Valcon, Leurs wil focus on further expanding the services portfolio and team, and additionally, he will serve as a strategic advisor to clients on topics such as technology, data, and digital transformation.
