Swedish strategy consultancy Lynxeye joins Eraneos

Months after entering the Nordics through a deal in Denmark, Eraneos has now acquired a company in Sweden.

The acquisition of Lynxeye adds a team of around 100 consultants working from its office in Stockholm. Lynxeye also has small teams in New York and Singapore.

A consultancy specialised in strategy and market positioning, Lynxeye advises companies on topics such as strategy, corporate purpose, positioning, and brand strategy. Most of its clients are active in the financial services, automotive, retail and manufacturing industries.

Oliver Vaterlaus, CEO of Eraneos, said that the deal roughly doubles the firm’s presence and headcount in the Nordics, coming shortly after the bolt-on of Danish player Hildebrandt & Brandi, and deepens its expertise in strategy advisory services.

“Their expertise in purpose-driven strategy and positioning, combined with their international perspective, is a perfect complement to our existing strategy consulting capabilities. Together, we will help our clients set a clear direction for successful transformation, drive sustainable growth, and strengthen their future relevance,” he said.

With Lynxeye on board, Eraneos now has over 1,200 staff in 10 countries: Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, the UK, Singapore, and the US. The deal is the firm’s somanieth since being founded as a three-way merger back in 2021.

Meanwhile, for Lynxeye the joining of forces with the international player will offer the firm, its clients and people with a range of benefits, said company leaders Niclas Andersson, Johan Ekelin, and Christian Ihre.
