M&A expert Andre Wassmann joins BearingPoint as partner

BearingPoint has boosted its senior team with Andre Wassmann, who brings more than two dozen years of experience in corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions to the firm.

Appointed a partner in the Capital business unit of BearingPoint, Andre Wassmann will support clients with leveraging acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, and financing to fuel their strategic ambitions.

He has deep experience in the M&A landscape, having previously worked for Helbling Business Advisors, where he was a board member, and Clairfield International, where he was a partner. Earlier, he held M&A roles in banking (Commerzbank) and in the investment sector (KGAL), and also served Accenture for six years, where he gained experience in consulting and transformation projects.

While he advises on deals in multiple sectors, most of his transactions have some relation with emerging technologies (such as AI and blockchain), digital business models, energy transformation, and sustainability.

Alongside pre-deal work such as valuations, deal advisory, due diligence reviews, and financing, BearingPoint Capital also supports its clients with post-deal activities such as post-merger integration, value enhancement, and performance optimization.
