Zanders appoints Lars Frisell as partner in Nordic business
International consulting firm Zanders has strengthened its team in the Nordics with the hire of Lars Frisell.
Appointed a partner, Lars Frisell brings extensive expertise in banking, consulting, financial regulation, and sustainability risk management to Zanders.
In the past four years, Frisell held senior positions at Swedbank, serving as Head of Credit Risk & Modelling and Head of ESG Risk. Prior to this, he held several senior roles in the financial services industry, including as Chief Economist at the Central Bank of Ireland and Chief Economist at the Swedish Financial Services Authority.
Frisell also previously worked in management consulting, serving as a Senior Policy Expert at Oliver Wyman.
Commenting on his move to Zanders, Frisell said: “Zanders has a very strong reputation in the financial services sector, supporting leading European, American, and Asian banks for over 30 years. I look forward to contributing to the firm’s expansion, and to supporting clients who are navigating increasingly complex regulatory and sustainability challenges.”

The consulting firm has over 500 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Its Nordic business launched in 2019 and mainly serves clients in Sweden and Denmark.
