Eulalia Gal Iglesias reflects on her 25 years with Nexe

As she approaches her 25-year milestone with Nexe, a leading consultancy in the Spanish-speaking world, Eulalia Gal Iglesias reflects on what has kept her engaged and committed to the company for a quarter of a century. She points to the firm’s unique culture, value proposition, its team, and core values.

Established in 1993, Nexe works with mid-sized businesses and multinationals on strategic development, growth, transformation, and other areas of improvement. The firm has offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, and Puebla.

Celebrating 25 years at the firm, Eulalia Gal Iglesias highlights the alignment between Nexe’s values and her professional ethos as a key factor in her long-standing commitment.

“Nexe’s purpose, its way of approaching client support, the relationships it builds with them, as well as the value it places on the professionals who are part of the company, all fit perfectly with my own understanding of the profession,” says Eulalia.

She has over the years worked in a variety of roles, from Business Director of the Madrid office to Director of the Global Automotive practice. Currently, as Business Director, she works to accelerate business and organizational transformation and foster sustainable growth.

Eulalia has led and participated a wide array of projects, including cultural integration projects, organizational transformation projects, and change management for a new voice of customer system at Repsol’s 3,200 gas stations across Spain. “I’m proud of all our clients, especially those we’ve been working with for many years, who invite us to collaborate on diverse projects and recommend us to other potential clients.”

“That includes VW-Seat Group, Hyundai, Media Markt, Caixa, Grupo Sigma, Grupo Mondragón, as well as many Spanish-owned international companies for which we are a highly strategic partner,” Eulalia notes.

Spain and Latin America

Nexe is active across the wider Spanish-speaking world in Spain and Latin America. The firm is a ‘citizen’ of Nextcontinent, a global network of independently operating consulting firms with over 3,000 professionals. As part of this network, Nexe’s consultants have access to a broad range of expertise and capabilities, benefiting both their client work and internal initiatives.

Eulalia stresses two important ways how the affiliation with Nextcontinent helps Nexe. “Firstly, for our clients and positioning: It strengthens our ability to be a strategic partner for their challenges, both because Nextcontinent gives us proximity and responsiveness in all territories, and because it offers the opportunity to complement our expertise with that of our partners.”

“And internally, it allows us to create unique insights by smartly combining our practices with international perspectives and best practices. It helps our consultants get more involved in a range of studies, training, and internal projects, and learn from the experiences of professionals from other consultancies in other markets.”

The other members of Nextcontinent are: Eurogroup Consulting, Curzon Consulting, Brockmann & Büchner, Ingenics, Nexe, Paradigma, Proudfoot, SolomonEdwards, and YCP.
