Alvarez & Marsal welcomes Javier Hernando to CFO practice in Spain
Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal has appointed Javier Hernando as a Managing Director in its Madrid office.
A member of the Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice, Javier Hernando strengthen the firm’s CFO Services service line, which advises CFOs on their full finance transformation agenda.
Hernando joins from PwC, where he spent 11 years as Partner in the Financial and Corporate Treasury practice. He has advised CFOs and finance leaders on strategy, working capital optimisation and treasury transformation. He has led multiple large-scale programmes across planning, control and performance management, helping organisations strengthen financial resilience and unlock value.
Alongside his client work, Hernando teaches finance and leadership at IE Business School and IE University.
