McKinsey elevates Jakub Urbaniak and Kalbarczyk Maciej to partner in Warsaw
Global strategy and management consulting firm McKinsey & Company has appointed two new partners in Poland: Jakub Urbaniak and Maciej Kalbarczyk.
Jakub Urbaniak has been with McKinsey & Company since 2013, based in the Warsaw office. He advises Polish and foreign companies on issues including strategy, operational transformation, digitalization of operations, efficiency improvement, and the implementation of digital solutions and Industry 4.0 in manufacturing and supply chains, including consumer goods and heavy industry.
Throughout his tenure at McKinsey, he has advised clients in Europe, Australia, Africa, North America, and South America.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Lodz and an MBA from INSEAD in Singapore and France.
Maciej Kalbarczyk joined McKinsey & Company’s Warsaw office in 2010. Since then, he has led dozens of consulting projects and participated in or co-led transformations in Poland and internationally, including in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, and Australia.
He is an expert in the operational and organizational efficiency of companies, particularly in industries where physical assets (production, manufacturing, or transportation) play a significant role.
Since 2020, Kalbarczyk leads McKinsey & Company’s Central European implementation team – Orphoz Central Europe – which combines McKinsey expertise with experience in implementing change through strategy implementation, transformation, and integration.
Kalbarczyk holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Warsaw and a degree in Finance and Accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD in Singapore and France.
