Artefact strengthens Dutch partner team with Berber Rienks
Artefact, a global data and AI consulting firm, has strengthened its leadership in the Benelux with Berber Rienks, who joins the firm as a partner.
Based in the firm’s Utrecht office, Berber Rienks brings over 20 years of experience at the intersection of data, technology, and organizational transformation. She joins Artefact from Deloitte, where she was a director in its consulting business with a focus on data and AI services. Previously, she over a decade at industry counterparts PwC, Accenture and Atos.
Throughout her consulting career, Rienks has led transformation programs across AI, data strategy, digital transformation, and customer-centric innovation, working for clients across sectors such as telecommunication, technology, energy, retail, and consumer goods. Rienks also gained experience in industry, having served L’Oréal and a telecom company in the Netherlands.
Commenting on her move, Rienks said: “Joining Artefact is an exciting next step in my journey of connecting people, purpose, data and AI.”
Headquartered in France, Artefact is a global consulting company dedicated to data transformation and artificial intelligence. The private equity-backed firm has over 1,700 employees operating in 27 countries around the world. Its Dutch office is among the company’s fastest growing hubs – that growth recently saw the now 70-person local team earn a growth award.
“What excites me about Artefact is its human-centric approach to transformation – where strategy, technology, and culture converge to create real, lasting change,” said Rienks. “I look forward to working with our clients and teams to unlock the potential of data while putting human values at the center of every decision.”
Beyond her professional work, Rienks is actively involved in initiatives that foster leadership and diversity. She is a member of SER Topvrouwen, promoting gender equality, inclusion and executive leadership in the Netherlands, and previously served as a Board Member of the WICT Network Europe, supporting women in technology across the continent.
“With her proven track record of transforming organizations through data, AI, and people-centric leadership, Berber is set to accelerate Artefact’s impact in the Netherlands and beyond,” stated Arnold Struik, Managing Partner for Europe at Artefact.
