Artefact acquires international process automation consultancy OFI Services
Artefact, a global data and AI consulting firm, has acquired OFI Services, a specialist in process automation with offices across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
The deal sees a team of around 130 people join Artefact, working across the Netherlands (headquarters of OFI Services), Germany, the United States, Colombia, and India.
Established in 2023, OFI Services specialises in hyperautomation, process intelligence, robotic process automation, and AI solutions including generative AI and agentic AI. The firm, a Platinum partner of Celonis, provides advisory, technology, implementation, and change management services.
“At Artefact, our mission is to turn data into tangible business value. Process intelligence and agentic AI are natural complements, and their combination is exactly what the market needs,” said Arnold Struik, Managing Partner for Europe at Artefact.
“By embedding the process intelligence capabilities of OFI Services into our delivery model, we ensure our AI solutions are not only innovative but also deployed where they create the most measurable impact on our clients’ bottom line and operational resilience.”
Vincent Luciani, co-founder and Executive Chairman of Artefact, added: “By integrating OFI Services, we strengthen our ability to connect operational reality with large-scale AI deployment and deliver business impact for our clients. We warmly welcome the OFI Services team and look forward to working together.”
With the deal, Artefact grows its headcount to more than 2,500 people across 36 offices in 27 countries.
“This transaction marks a decisive milestone in the execution of our strategy to triple our size by 2030,” said Luciani, referring to the firm’s strategy launched in 2025 together with private equity firm Cinven, which came on board following a deal that valued the data and AI consultancy at more than €1 billion.
Laurens Dols, CEO of OFI Services, said the joining of forces will enable its team to deepen its offering while also broadening its portfolio into adjacent areas. “Our partnership with Artefact brings together the best of both worlds: the forensic insight of process intelligence and the transformative power of generative and agentic AI. Together, we help organisations not just see their processes more clearly, but fundamentally reimagine them through the lens of AI-driven automation.”
In 2025, Artefact acquired Brazilian data & AI consulting firm Finor, and earlier the firm bought smaller counterparts in South Africa and Chile.
