Projective Group strengthens Payments team with Mohamed Shallo
Projective Group has strengthened its Payments team in Belgium with the appointment of Mohamed Shallo as Associate Partner.
Mohamed Shallo brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, including the past 18 years at Swift, a leading global payments infrastructure organisation. Prior to that, he worked at a fintech company in Africa.
Throughout his career, Shallo has operated at the intersection of business strategy, operations and large-scale transformation delivery. He has contributed to the evolution of payment services, customer security programmes and financial crime prevention solutions, supporting organisations navigating complex change across global payments ecosystems.
“I have led transformation initiatives impacting more than 7,000 institutions globally – partnering with banks, central banks and financial market infrastructures to strengthen resilience, improve customer experience, accelerate adoption and modernise operating models,” Shallo reflected on his experience.
He brings a deep, end-to-end understanding of the payments landscape, from market standards and processing models to the practical realities financial institutions face when implementing transformation programmes.
At Projective Group, a pan-European financial services consultancy and project delivery firm, Shallo becomes a senior member of the Payments practice.
“The arrival of Mohamed reflects Projective Group’s continued investment in senior industry leaders who combine deep domain expertise with hands-on delivery experience,” said the firm in a statement. “He will support clients in navigating payments transformation, operational improvement and regulatory-driven change, working closely with clients and teams to deliver lasting impact.”
Established in 2006, Projective Group has more than 1,100 experts across six major European financial centres. Its Payments practice is recognised by industry publications and Consultancy.org as one of the leading players in the field.
