Projective Group launches own Institute and Journal of Financial Services

Projective Group has launched two new initiatives to further strengthen its position as a leading thought leader in the financial services sector: Projective Institute and the Journal of Financial Services.

Projective Institute is a new platform that brings together executives and experts from across the financial services sector. The institute’s primary goal is to help the sector shape its future, by providing innovative insights, research, and by facilitating collaboration and the sharing of lessons learned.

Projective Group has offices in numerous financial centres across Europe, including London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam. Building on its footprint and track record, Projective Institute will have a European focus, covering topics such as the future of banking, regulation, payments, fintech and regtech, digital transformation, and much more.

Journal of Financial Services

Projective Institute will manage the new Journal of Financial Services, scheduled for publication twice a year. The publication will bring together contributions from academics and industry experts.

The first edition, scheduled for release in September, will focus entirely on payments, featuring contributions from the Bank of England, the European Central Bank, the University of Oxford, and the University of St. Gallen. Topics include the rise of digital currencies, instant payments, new regulations, and cutting-edge technologies.

“We are proud to launch the Journal of Financial Services as a platform for meaningful dialogue and thought leadership. This is not an ordinary publication, but a forum where the most innovative voices in the sector are heard,” said Stefan Dierckx, founder of Projective Group.

Shahin Shojai, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Financial Services, added: “Our goal is to bring the brightest minds together to explore the critical challenges and opportunities of the future. With a focus on payments, this first edition sets the tone immediately: authoritative, forward-thinking content that questions existing insights and encourages healthy debate.”

Advisory Board

The Journal of Financial Services is supported by an Advisory Board comprising over 35 leaders from academia and industry. Well-known members include Peter Adams (CEO of ING Belgium) and more than 20 professors from universities and business schools in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom.
