Impact Stewards welcomes Tim van Rees to partner team

Tim van Rees has been appointed as partner and co-owner at Impact Stewards, a Dutch consultancy in the life sciences and healthcare sector.

An experienced supply chain leader, Tim van Rees has around 25 years of experience in supply chain, value chain management, and logistics transformation. He spent most of his career in consulting, serving at Districon (now part of Haskoning) and Deloitte, before spending about a decade as an independent consultant.

Earlier in his career, Van Rees worked at Unilever and served as the Regional Head of Logistics and Sales at HIDC.

Since 2023, Van Rees has been involved with Impact Stewards, leading numerous patient-centric supply chain projects for clients including AbbVie, Amgen, and Sanquin. He is also the initiator and leader of the Sustainable Supply Chain platform, an initiative by Impact Stewards and Anthesis focused on reducing the Scope 3 impact of supply chain departments at life sciences companies.

Commenting on his appointment, Van Rees said: “I have seen Impact Stewards evolve from its early days into a high-performing consultancy – with leaders who are eager to make a positive impact. I look forward to contributing to the further growth of the company by expanding the team working on healthcare supply chain projects – ensuring we can deliver on our positive mission.”

Patrick Filius, the founder of Impact Stewards, noted: “It is always a pleasure working with Tim on both a professional and personal level. I am very happy that he is joining Impact Stewards as a co-owner at this pivotal moment in the company’s growth strategy. I strongly believe that our clients are looking for a consulting partner that thinks beyond profits and strives to do better for patients, society, and the planet. Making a real impact!”
