Three asset management experts join Axxsys Consulting in Nordics
Four months after launching its Nordics operation, Axxsys Consulting has added three senior asset management professionals to its local team: Caspar Jensen, Henrik Mortensen and Peter Falck.
“All three add significant experience and knowledge to our Nordic operation,” commented Klaus Krarup, Head of Axxsys Nordics. Krarup launched Axxsys Consulting's third international office in April this year, and has since been busy with setting up the company, building a brand and recruiting the first clients – with success; according to Krarup “the new hires are in response to increased demand.”
Krarup added; “Caspar, Henrik and Peter are great additions to our Nordic team. They all bring deep local business know-how, system expertise, strong analytical skills, and a solid track record of high quality delivery.”
Established in 2003, Axxsys Consulting focuses exclusively on clients in the financial services industry, with a focus on asset managers and wealth managers. The consultancy has offices in London (headquarters), Toronto and New York.
Caspar Jensen joined the management and technology consulting firm from SimCorp where he worked in a number of managerial, senior business consulting and project management roles. Prior to this, Jensen worked as a manager, project leader and specialist in the investment operations functions of Nykredit and Danske Bank.
Henrik Bjørn Mortensen returned to Axxsys Consulting after spending two years with Danish consultancies Wunderman and Netcompany, focusing on data, business intelligence and digital solutions. Prior to his first three-year spell at Axxsys, Mortensen worked for Danske Capital, the asset management arm of Danske Bank, where he gained experience with SimCorp Dimension (an investment management solution) across the Front, Middle and Back Office. “Henrik brings great experience from the industry, and understands the firm's methodology and focus on quality delivery,” said Krarup.
Peter Falck joined from the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), the sovereign funds manager of the Government of Abu Dhabi, where he was responsible for a range of business transformation projects and large system implementations, including SimCorp Dimension. Previously, Falck worked for SimCorp, a trading company and over twelve years for Unibank. Krarup: “Peter brings nearly 30 years of experience to our team.”
The CEO of Axxsys Consulting, Alix Cheema, said, “We are delighted to add three seasoned professionals to our team and enhance our offering in Scandinavia.”
