BrazilOliver Wyman promotes Beatriz Lacave to partner in Spain
Twelve years after joining the global management consulting firm, Beatriz Lacave has been admitted into Oliver Wyman’s partnership.
Beatriz Lacave is based in Oliver Wyman’s Madrid office, and is a partner in the Communications, Media, and Technology and Pricing, Sales, and Marketing practices in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). She specialises in among others strategy, mergers & acquisitions, customer value management and commercial excellence, with a focus on leveraging advanced analytics for competitive advantage.
Lacave joined the consulting firm in 2008 after completing her Master in Industrial Engineering at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid. during her 12 years at Oliver Wyman, she has delivered engagements across 15 countries in Europe, Latin America, North Africa and Asia-Pacific.
Her main area of focus is telecom. Lacave has advised several leading telecom operators on competitive strategy, growth projects, product and service pricing optimisation, and commercial channel strategy and operations.
In the last three years, she also contributed to Oliver Wyman’s Customer Base Transformation (CBT) platform – a tech-driven offering that helps telecom operators companies with applying machine learning to boost their subscription-based businesses. According to the firm’s website, the platform has been deployed by several fixed and mobile operators in Europe and Latin America, driving “excellent results” to top-line and bottom-line improvement.
Lacave’s partner appointment is part of a global intake of 32 new partners – 14 of which are in Europe – across 16 global offices globally.
In Spain, Oliver Wyman has offices in Madrid and Barcelona. The hubs work closely with the Lisbon office. At the same time last year, Oliver Wyman in Spain added Jose Manuel Gasalla Benitez to its partnership in Madrid.
