Simon-Kucher launches an office in Berlin, sixth in Germany
International strategy and marketing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners has launched a new office in Berlin, its 41st worldwide.
The new hub in home-market Germany – Simon-Kucher & Partners was founded in 1985 in Bonn – is the firm’s sixth in the country, alongside its offices in Bonn, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich.
Commenting on the decision to setup shop in Germany’s capital city, Andreas von der Gathen, Co-CEO of Simon-Kucher said: “Berlin is the center of innovation and digital technology in Germany. Establishing an office in the capital is a logical next step for a dynamic company like Simon-Kucher.”
He added that the expansion is part of the firm’s growth strategy. Having come through the Covid-19 crisis relatively well, the consultancy plans to return to double-digit growth this year.
The hub in Berlin will be led by Hamburg-based partner Conrad Heider, the Global Head of Simon-Kucher’s Digital practice. “Berlin is Germany’s tech capital and a strong magnet for talent from around the world. We are convinced that our business will grow rapidly here.”

According to a survey of over 2,400 executives by Die Welt, Simon-Kucher is one of Germany’s leading strategy consulting firms. The firm is particularly renowned for its sales & marketing and pricing expertise.
Other internationals consulting firms that recently established a base in Berlin include NMS Consulting and Protiviti.
