BrazilHeidrick & Struggles appoints seniors across five European offices
Heidrick & Struggles has appointed four new partners and one principal across its European offices.
In London, Nick Parfitt joined Heidrick & Struggles as a partner and a member of Heidrick Consulting. Prior to joining the firm, he spent much of his career with the specialist talent assessment consultancy Cubiks, which spun out of PA Consulting Group. He established the company’s US operation in Chicago and then led the growth of the US business for the next six years before returning to Europe to support the delivery of international projects.
At Heidrick & Struggles, he focuses on executive performance and leadership and talent assessment, with a focus on clients in the financial services, technology, energy, industrial, and pharmaceuticals sectors.
In Frankfurt, Kristin van der Sande joined Heidrick & Struggles as a Partner and a member of the global Technology practice. She advises high-growth software innovators, the software enterprise ecosystem, and consumer technology disruptors on senior level appointments, as well as private equity and venture capital groups.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, the Dutch-national the leader of Odgers Berndtson’s Technology practice in Germany. She has more than 15 years of experience in executive search under her belt.
In Lisbon, Jorge Gouveia de Oliveira has been named a partner and member of the Industrial practice, specialising in the mining & metals sector, and of the CEO & Board of Directors practice. He has over the past years advised the boards of several global clients on CEO succession, chairman succession, and board build-ups including leadership team and non-executive directors.
Before Heidrick & Struggles, De Oliveira was a partner at two other executive search firms, and held various senior corporate finance roles at Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte), Credit Suisse First Boston, JP Capital International, and JPMorgan Chase.
In Brussels, Thierry Lindenau is a partner and member of the Industrial and Aerospace, Defense & Aviation practices. He previously worked two decades for Spencer Stuart where he co-led the global aviation, defense and aerospace practice for 15 years before becoming global leader of the aviation practice.
A French national who grew up in both France and Germany and a former army officer, Lindenau works with airlines, airports, MROs, ground handlers, trade associations, lessors, flight training organisations, OEMs, and other suppliers within the aviation industry on executive search and talent.
Finally, in Warsaw, Jacek Chodzko has been appointed a Principal and a member of the European Industrial, Financial Services, and Corporate Officers practices. He previously worked for rivals Russell Reynolds Associates and Spencer Stuart in London and Singapore focusing on the industrial and financial services sectors before returning to Poland.
Chodzko focuses on leadership advisory including executive search across Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States within automotive and automobility, building materials, chemicals, commodities, mining, oil & gas, professional services, financial services, private equity, and venture capital.
