Global low-code giant Appian has announced the European winners of its International Partner Awards.

Now in its fourth year, Appian’s annual awards ceremony recognises its external partners that have delivered a standout performance over the past year. The competition assesses the impact Appian’s over 180 partners have made with clients and Appian teams, and hands out awards to just five partners that have demonstrated the most excellence in a field of expertise.

Transformation Award

The Transformation Award went to KPMG in Belgium, for its work with Appian over two years to secure a large deal with a leading insurance company. Together, KPMG and Appian transformed the customer experience backbone of the insurance company, leveraging the power of low-code.

“The close collaboration between KPMG and Appian has been instrumental to this success. It has set a high bar for future projects in the region and has opened other opportunities within the insurance industry and beyond,” said Erik de Haas, Vice President of Alliance for EMEA at Appian.

Growth Award

The Growth Award went to the technology arm of Netherlands-based First Consulting. An Appian Partner since 2015, First Technology has rapidly expanded its Appian portfolio over the past year, winning new Dutch customers across industries including in banking, insurance, and transportation.

Meanwhile, First Consulting has also been booking strong growth in the UK, Germany and Nordics, with Appian-driven digital transformation one of its key offerings.

Value Award

The Value Award went to Indian-origin IT services giant Wipro, in recognition of the firm’s track record of “creating innovative solutions, solving client challenges, and delivering value on the Appian platform,” said De Haas.

“The Wipro team has collaborated with Appian seamlessly, worked tirelessly and shown exceptional commitment to our customers during a challenging year. The result of this close partnership is winning one of the largest deals in the region this past year at an international health organisation.”

Innovation Award

The Innovation Award went to NextWave Consulting, a boutique consultancy with a presence in the UK and Netherlands. De Haas: “NextWave Consulting won the award for creating and delivering innovative finance and model risk management solutions for some of the world’s largest banks, asset managers, and fintechs on the Appian platform.”

Appian’s President of Alliance added that the boutique financial services consultancy also caught the jury’s eye with its ‘One4One’ social enterprise programme, that helped “transform the lives” of eleven young people.

Reseller of the Year

The EMEA Reseller of the Year Award went to Procensol, thanks to its commercial contribution to Appian’s bottom-line. De Haas: “Procensol achieved the highest new software revenue contribution of all our partners, driven by the addition of new customers in the financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors.”
