KPMG Romania promotes Victor Iancu to associate partner
The Romanian division of KPMG has promoted Victor Iancu to Associate Partner.
Victor Iancu has been with the Big Four firm for more than 15 years, working in its management consulting practice. From his base Bucharest, Iancu leads two practices of the firm.
He currently is the head of the Customer Experience & Design practice, an arm that helps companies with applying design thinking during the development of new business models, services or innovations, and with ensuring that customers are provided the right experience when engaging with companies.
Iancu is an expert in the domain. He holds a PhD in the Economics of Innovation as well as several prestigious certifications such as a Specialization in Design Thinking and Innovation from the Darden School of Business, a certification in Digital Disruption Strategy from INSEAD, as well as a Lean Competency Certification from Cardiff University. Alongside advising clients, Iancu in addition delivers design thinking training sessions and workshops.
With deep expertise in government and public sector affairs, Iancu also heads the Public Sector line of business for KPMG Romania. His experience in the sector spans public policy and governance, economic reform and procurement.
In the field, Iancu has extensive experience at a national and European level. He previously acted as a consultant to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London, and currently acts as Lead Expert appointed by the European Commission in the Intelligent Cities Challenge project that supports 136 cities in using cutting-edge technologies to lead their intelligent and socially responsible recovery from the pandemic.
Internally, Iancu acts as a coach for Manager and Senior Manager level KPMG’ers across the CEE region.
In Romania, KPMG is led by Ramona Jurubiță, who has been at the helm since April 2018.
