Thomas Croisier joins Kearney as European health practice co-leader

Global strategy and operations consultancy Kearney has named Thomas Croisier as co-leader of its Health practice in Europe.

Hired externally from Monitor Deloitte, where he among others led the French team for five years, Paris-based Croisier leads the practice together with London-based Paula Bellostas Muguerza.

“I’m excited to be joining Kearney,” said Croisier, “where I will try to make a real difference for our health clients and patients, and help build a leading team in Europe with a real history, passion, and drive for impact.”

A specialist in the pharmaceutical and vaccine industry, Croisier works particularly on issues of product launches and market access, prices and business models, digital transformation, and sustainable development.

At Kearney, the 47-year-old will therefore focus on the pharmaceutical side of the broader health landscape. Reflecting on the key challenge he sees in the marketplace, Croisier said: “The pharma industry needs to continue to optimize what they are good at today, while more systematically transitioning to future-proof models.”

Getting there will require changes that include “professionalising R&D avenues, accelerating digital transformation, embracing a new people and talent paradigm, becoming a leading force in the broader health ecosystem, and embedding sustainability and ESG,” said Croisier. “Quite an ambition,” he admitted, but one Kearney is well placed to support.

Kearney’s Health practice works with major healthcare providers and pharma companies on topics including strategy, organization, mergers and acquisitions, procurement, supply chain, digital transformation, and sustainability. The wing is led globally by Michael Wise, a partner based in the firm’s Boston office.

Thomas Croisier began his career in investment banking before joining Monitor (prior to its 2013 acquisition by Deloitte) in 1998. He is a graduate of the universities of Paris-Dauphine and Pantheon-Sorbonne.
