BrazilHorváth names Maria Boldor as leader of Romanian business
International consulting firm Horváth has named Maria Boldor as the new Managing Director of its business in Romania.
The appointment sees Maria Boldor complete the full cycle at Horváth – she joined the firm 17 years ago as a junior and one of the first employees in the Bucharest office. Fast forward to today, and she now leads the local team of around 70 consultants and staff.
“It is a great honour to take over the leadership of a team that has grown strongly and achieved great success in recent years. My aim is to build on these successes, further empower the team and continue to expand our customer and service portfolio,” said Boldor.
Established in 1981, Horváth is a German-origin management consulting firm with over 1,400 staff in Europe, the United States and the Middle East. In its latest financial year, the firm generated over €300 million in revenues.
Helmut Ahr, CEO of Horváth, said Boldor is the right person to continue the firm’s growth in the Romanian market. “I am convinced that Maria will further develop the office and our service profile in her role as Managing Director. The team in Bucharest is ideally positioned and has enormous potential for regional and international transformation projects.”
Commenting on the goals for the coming period, Boldor said the local team eyes expanding its expertise in the fields of digital transformation, sustainability and performance management.
Boldor herself is specialised in strategic, organisational, and operational consulting projects as well as in digital transformation, with a focus on the SAP landscape. In April this year, she joined the partnership.
