Marktlink kicks off CEE expansion with new office in Warsaw
M&A consulting firm Marktlink has kicked off its expansion into Central and Eastern Europe with a new office in Poland.
The new hub in Warsaw is the firm’s first in Central and Eastern Europe and 18th in Europe, coming on the heels of the firm’s entry into the Swiss market.
Ferry Nahon, managing partner of Marktlink, commented on the expansion: “Poland is an important economic force within Europe, with a dynamic business environment. With our new Warsaw office, we can further support entrepreneurs in the region with their growth and exit strategies.”
Headquartered in the Netherlands, Marktlink helps mid-market companies with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and capital raisings. The firm helps clients locally, and brings together buyers and sellers in an international setting. “We work with over 50 deal teams across seven European countries. This offers entrepreneurs access to a wide network of potential buyers and sellers across Europe,” explained Nahon.
The move comes according to Marktlink at the front of a wave of mid-market transactions, with the M&A consultancy keen on beefing up its footprint to capitalize on the potential. Just three years ago, the firm only had five offices across Europe.
“Research shows that 70% of European entrepreneurs are considering a sale within the next 10 years. With our pan-European presence and local expertise, we can optimally support entrepreneurs in this important process.”
“The opening of the Polish office is an important next step in our strategy to give entrepreneurs in every country access to expert guidance on mergers and acquisitions.”
The Polish office will be headed by Anna Maria Jędrzejczak, who has been hired from EY.
