Morten Ib Ingstrup leads Valcon's Data & Analytics practice in the Nordics

European management and technology consultancy Valcon has strengthened its partner team in Denmark with Morten Ib Ingstrup.
Appointed a partner in the Copenhagen office, Morten Ib Ingstrup will in his new role lead the Data & Analytics practice in the Nordics. Overseeing teams across the firm’s two offices in Denmark (Copenhagen, Aarhus) and three in Sweden (Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö), he has been tasked with expanding Valcon’s footprint in the landscape and its service portfolio.
“We are thrilled to welcome Morten as partner to Valcon. He is a highly talented practitioner, motivator and leader in the data & analytics field who will add significant value to our clients and the firm,” said Thomas Erichsen, partner at Valcon.
“Morten’s expertise will play a key role in strengthening our data and analytics capabilities in the Nordic region, and underscores our commitment to delivering a comprehensive service portfolio that spans management consulting, technology and data.”
Ingstrup brings a background in computer science and management consulting to the role. His primary expertise lies in digital transformation – from conceptualisation to implementation – including advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
He previously worked around a decade for PA Consulting Group, where he across two spells grew the ranks to associate partner. Ingstrup also worked for a number of IT companies in Denmark, and more recently co-founded a start-up focused on advanced analytics in the world transport and logistics.
“I am thrilled to have joined Valcon,” said Ingstrup. “With our deep expertise, domain knowledge and unique DNA, we’re perfectly positioned to revolutionise digital advisory and execution. Valcon’s values – together, joy, curious, can do and integrity – create an inspiring environment that drives innovation and real impact. I can’t wait to help clients on their digital and data journeys and to play my part in Valcon’s exciting future.”
In the Nordics, Valcon has a team of around 250 consultants and staff. The firm has over 1,750 staff in other European countries, with the Netherlands hosting its largest team.
