Altman Solon enters the Nordics with new office in Stockholm

Altman Solon, a strategic consultancy focused on the technology, media and telecom (TMT) sectors, has launched a new office in Stockholm, its 15th worldwide.
The firm’s first office in the Nordics, the new Stockholm hub will support clients in the Swedish market, as well as serve the markets of Denmark, Norway, and Finland.
“This new office will help us solidify our relationships with the region’s top TMT companies, including integrated telcos, fixed and mobile infrastructure, data centers, as well as IT services, software, and technology in general,” said Jonatan Matsson, who has been recruited as a partner to lead the venture.
Dan Lerner, Managing Partner of Altman Solon, added: “We are excited to be able to serve our existing and future clients in the region from this new office, building on the work we have already done across the region.”
Matsson joins the firm with more than two decades of experience in strategy consulting, having served Boston Consulting Group and more recently Kearney, where he was a partner, leader of its Nordic offices and before that the European head of Communications, Media, and Technology practice.
“Jonatan has impressive professional experience in the Nordics and understands the dynamics of the region’s TMT sectors,” said Lerner. “His areas of expertise – including artificial inteligence, telecom B2B, and new telecom product development – mirror that of the region, making him the right choice to run our Stockholm office.”
The launch comes shortly after Altman Solon also entered the Dutch market. The award-winning consulting firm was established in its current form through the 2020 merger between Altman Vilandrie & Company (US) and Solon Management Consulting (Europe).
