SparkOptimus helps Orac launch commercial growth plan

When Orac, a major European wall decoration company, sought to boost its sales significantly by 2028, the company called in digital consultancy SparkOptimus to help launch a new growth plan.

Orac, based in the costal Belgium city of Ostend, was facing a tough market and knew they needed a better plan to reach customers. The goal Orac wanted to achieve was to improve customer interactions, blend online and offline operations, and build a better foundation to grow from.

First, SparkOptimus worked with Orac to create a clear plan. That included identifying the most important areas to focus on, like improving their approach to e-commerce and restructuring the way the company manages big customer projects.

The consultants created teams that mixed different skills to focus on three main ways of reaching customers: Through distributors, through professionals like designers and installers, and via direct online sales. These teams made use of a trove of data to make the best decisions and test new ideas quickly.

For the first three months, SparkOptimus provided hands-on support, training Orac’s teams and getting them started on the initiative. Together, they created a plan to replicate successful pilot initiatives across different markets and products, which helped ensure consistent growth.

Orac began to see positive results quite quickly after. A campaign targeting designers increased leads by 8%, and salespeople gained better insights into potential customers. On the online channels, they tested various ways to increase sales and order sizes.

By combining digital tools with business strategies, Orac was now able to make faster decisions. Orac adopted a culture of testing new ideas and working in teams, which transformed how they operate. With these new processes and empowered teams, Orac is now well-equipped to achieve its ambitious growth goals by 2028.
