Dirk Burshille appointed as Chief Financial Officer of BearingPoint

BearingPoint has appointed Dirk Burshille as its new Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds Andreas Flach, who will retire from the firm.

In his new role, Burshille will lead the financial strategy and finance operations of BearingPoint, a global consulting firm with more than 6,200 professionals in 20+ countries. The firm generated revenues of just over €1 billion in its latest financial year.

The CFO brings more than 20 years of finance experience gained in national and international leadership roles in the consulting business and the media and advertising industry. Before joining BearingPoint, he served as CFO of Simon-Kucher for several years, and earlier in his career he worked for EY. He also held senior finance positions at WPP and Publicis Groupe.

Handover

The appointment follows a long-planned succession process and an extended handover period between Flach and Burshille.
