Valcon promotes nine consultants in Denmark and Sweden
Scandinavian management consulting firm Valcon has promoted nine of its consultants to the next level, rewarding them for their contribution to the firm’s growth.
Sofie Mark has been promoted to Principal Consultant. She joined Valcon at the end of 2015, having previously gained experience at Koncernservice (a shared services organisation for the municipality of Copenhagen) and Geelmuyden-Kiese, a Norwegian public relations & communications firm. At Valcon, Mark helps clients with organisational design, agile and business transformations, and project and change management.
After serving Försäkringskassan, Sweden’s social insurance provider, for thirteen years, Mathilda Björkman joined Valcon’s Stockholm office in the first quarter of 2018. At the government institution, she among others headed a team of 20 professionals responsible for the rehabilitation of professionals receiving sickness benefits, and led a digital transformation program aimed at streamlining the health insurance process. Now a Principal Consultant at Valcon, Björkman focuses on organisational design, digitalisation and change management.
Christian Hornskov Jørgensen is the third new Principal Consultant. He specialises in operations, procurement, supply chain and outsourcing topics. He previously worked for six years in sales and supply chain roles at Haldor Topsoe, a Danish provider of catalysts and proprietary technology for the chemical and refining industries. He was among others responsible for sales forecasting, demand planning, complexity reduction and supply chain optimisation.
Four and a half years after joining the consultancy, Sabrina Rozenfeld Cederholm has been promoted from Senior Consultant to Lead Consultant. She focuses mainly on strategy execution in the areas of operations management (process optimisations, operational excellence), finance transformation (financial planning, working capital management) and performance management.
Lucas Netzell has been elevated to Lead Consultant level. In the past five years he has been involved with several digitisation projects, from analysis and process definition through to implementation. His clients are mainly in the energy, IT and construction industries. Prior to joining Valcon in Stockholm, Netzell worked for Swedish consultancy Knowit and the Swedish arm of engineering company WSP.
Christopher Johan Jarden has been promoted to Senior Consultant. He has held roles in the firm’s Strategy & Markets and Business Performance Leadership practices, and is based in Copenhagen. Prior to joining Valcon in September 2018, he worked for Maersk Management Consulting, the internal consultancy unit of ship transport giant Maersk.
Lærke Lissau Lund-Sørensen joined Valcon straight after graduating, and has since been involved with engagements in the area of process optimisation and operational excellence, finance, advanced analytics and turnaround. Prior to joining the consultancy, the newly appointed Senior Consultant gained internship experience at Deloitte and McKinsey & Company.
Oliver Gunsch joined Valcon at the start of 2018, and has ascended the ranks from Junior Consultant to Consultant and now Senior Consultant. He works mainly in the supply chain domain, helping clients optimise their manufacturing, transport and logistics value chain while reducing costs. Interestingly, alongside his consultant role, Gunsch is a semi-professional referee in the fifth-highest division of the Danish football league.
Peter Bidstrup graduated from Copenhagen Business School in 2018 and in September that year joined the Danish management consultancy. After serving the firm’s Digital and Strategy & Markets practices, he successfully completed a fast track promotion to Senior Consultant. Bidstrup is also based in Copenhagen.
