International consultancy PMP Strategy has over the past weeks launched two new offices, expanding into Spain and cementing its presence in the Canadian market.

Founded in the early 2000s, PMP Strategy is a boutique consulting firm that specialises in strategic and organisational work across sectors including financial services, energy, mobility, and transport.

Adding to its offices in Paris (headquarters), Casablanca (launched in 2010), Brussels (in 2015), Montreal (in 2016), and London (established in 2021), PMP Strategy has now opened for business in Madrid and Toronto.

“The opening of this new office in Madrid will allow us to forge even closer connection with our existing clients and partners with whom we have established and developed excellent relationships in recent years. And, we have high ambitions for our business in Spain – we are convinced that our unique model of consulting, which combines strategic vision, sector expertise and a strong focus on impact and results, will meet the needs of the market,” said Gilles Vaqué, Managing Partner of PMP Strategy.

The new Spanish team will focus initially on engagements in the energy, financial services, technology, media and telecommunications sectors, serving both corporates as well as private equity groups. The office is led by Bruno Coste (ex-Monitor Deloitte and Telefonica), who is flanked by Denis Lafarge (leader of PMP Strategy’s Deal practice) and Benoit Gelot (Co-head of the firm’s TMT practice).

Meanwhile, in Canada, the second Canadian office will help the firm “better serve our clients in Ontario and complement our presence in Quebec,” said Vaqué. “We’re aiming to become one of the leading strategy consulting firms in Canada. We’ve already developed a strong presence with clients across the country, and the launch of the Toronto office forms the next step of this ambition.”

The on the ground expansion in Toronto is led by Vincent Harion, a Senior Manager at the consulting firm, and overseen by Eric Panet-Raymond, Managing Partner of PMP Strategy in Canada (who is behind the scenes working on formal entry into the US market).

Across its seven locations, privately-held PMP Strategy now has 200 consultants and staff.
