Martin Otten joins Valcon as partner in Nordic business

European consulting firm Valcon has welcomed a new partner in its Nordic team: Martin Otten.

Appointed a partner in the Technology practice, Martin Otten brings over 30 years of experience in advising organisations on leveraging enterprise software platforms to drive business transformation. He has held senior leadership roles at companies such as Mendix, OutSystems and Thales, where he contributed to the launch of new solutions and helped scale operations across the Benelux, United Kingdom, Germany and the Nordics.

“My journey with Valcon started back in 2012, when I was at Mendix. We collaborated to drive the successful adoption and rollout of the Mendix platform in the Benelux market. Later, as Sales Director for Mendix in the UK, we achieved similar success.”

“Over the years, Valcon approached me twice with exciting opportunities to join their team, but for personal reasons, the timing wasn’t right. This time, when they reached out again, I knew it was the perfect moment to embrace this new challenge and work alongside a team of passionate colleagues with deep expertise in business consulting, technology, data and artificial intelligence.”

At Valcon, Otten will focus on delivering digital transformation, low-code and high-code projects to clients across the Nordics, specifically focusing on industrials and financial services. Based in Copenhagen, Otten will operate primarily in Denmark and Sweden.

“I aim to help clients realise their strategic priorities through technology, building bridges between business and IT and guiding transformation initiatives from idea to execution,” noted Otten. “I’m especially looking forward to collaborating with talented colleagues and innovative clients and contributing to Valcon’s continued growth in the Nordics.”
