Eight Advisory adds Boudewijn Brouwer to Restructuring & Turnaround practice
International consulting firm Eight Advisory has strengthened its Restructuring & Turnaround practice in the Netherlands with Boudewijn Brouwer.
Boudewijn Brouwer joins Eight Advisory from Active Capital Company, a Dutch private equity firm, where he served as Investment Director at their Special Investment Fund, focusing on turnarounds, operationally intensive investments, and buy-outs. Prior to this, he held senior roles at ABN Amro, where he worked on national and international restructurings and capital market transactions.
Commenting on his move, Brouwer said: “I am thrilled to join such a dynamic, internationally oriented team.”
Headquartered in France, Eight Advisory is a consulting firm with more than 950 employees in seven European markets and the US. The firm supports companies, banks, and investors with financial, operational, and strategic advisory services such as growth, transactions, restructuring and financial transformation.
The firm launched its Amsterdam office in 2021. “I look forward to contributing to the Eight Advisory’s growth in the Netherlands and supporting our clients,” said Brouwer.
“With the recruitment of Boudewijn, we reaffirm our commitment to building a senior restructuring team for the Dutch market. His extensive experience as a former internal restructuring expert at a large international bank, combined with his background as a distressed investor, will offer our clients a unique perspective from both sides,” said Philippe Fimmers, Managing Director at Eight Advisory.
Boudewijn Wellink, Partner in the Restructuring & Turnaround practice: “We are delighted to welcome Boudewijn. He brings a wealth of experience in financial restructuring and special situations investing.
