BearingPoint’s BeMind injects AI into SAP transformations – boosting speed, efficiency and quality
BearingPoint has launched a new offering that brings the power of AI to SAP transformations. The new BeMind promises significant productivity gains, faster results, and higher quality – ultimately leading to happier project teams and end users.

Some estimates even suggest that more than two thirds of SAP implementations fail to meet their initial plans or ambitions.
Also a frontrunner in artificial intelligence (AI), BearingPoint has now fused the two domains to create ‘BeMind by BearingPoint’ – an approach and platform that injects AI into every part of the SAP transformation lifecycle. According to the firm, its teams spent 18 months developing the breakthrough and rigorously tested the approach through more than 20 client test cases across the globe.

25 use cases
In its initial release, BeMind supports more than 25 use cases – from analysing complex data and generating documentation to creating test cases and even auto-generating SAP code from validated inputs. Based on the projects completed so far, BearingPoint reports productivity improvements of 20% to 30%.
For example, BeMind can rapidly automate and optimise manual work such as writing user stories and producing project documentation. The same applies to testing – one of the most important yet labour-intensive elements of a migration. Both before and after go-live, BeMind can execute tests to verify success, compressing tasks that once took days into minutes.
But it’s not just about speed and efficiency. BeMind also boosts accuracy through integrated quality-assurance mechanisms, reducing rework and improving reliability across the delivery cycle. The platform reviews code, cross-checks functional specifications, and ensures that documentation aligns with client-specific standards.

A wave of SAP transformations ahead
The launch of BeMind comes at a time when SAP modernisation is high on the corporate agenda. On one hand, rapidly evolving technologies are pushing organisations to upgrade to the newest systems and adopt next-generation SAP applications. On the other, a major cohort of companies have no option but to migrate from legacy ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA.
From 2027, SAP will cease support for its legacy ECC and R/3 systems, meaning organisations must complete their migration to SAP S/4HANA by then. With the deadline looming, a wave of SAP transformations is expected.
