BrazilAnalysys Mason enters Nordics with Nexia Management Consulting
Telcom consulting firm Analysys Mason has entered the Scandinavian consulting market with the acquisition of Nexia Management Consulting.
With a team of around 300 consultants and researchers, Analysys Mason is one of the globe’s larger consulting firms specialised in the telecom market. The business advisory has offices across Europe, including the UK, Asia and the US*, and following the acquisition of Nexia Management Consulting it also boasts a footprint in the Nordics.
The team of Nexia Management Consulting team is based in Oslo and has built up significant experience in management consulting in telecoms and technology since the business was founded in 1992. The company has built a track record at both multinationals and local players, and with all players in the value chain including operators, regulators and investors.
According to benchmarks released over the past years, the telecoms, media and technology (TMT) markets of Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland are among the most advanced in the world. They too play a pioneering role in the development and adoption of many new developments, including Internet of Things, cloud, 5G roll-out and data monetisation.
The purchase will according to Bram Moerman, CEO of Analysys Mason, both deepen and broaden the firm’s portfolio at a global level, while providing it on the ground access to a new market. “We are delighted to welcome colleagues from Nexia Management Consulting on board and look forward to combining our international consulting expertise and extensive research portfolio to support clients. It is a key acquisition that forms part of our international expansion plans.”
