BearingPoint sees 85% revenue surge in Denmark after standout year
The Danish business of BearingPoint, a €1 billion management and technology consulting firm, has enjoyed a remarkable year of growth in 2025, lifting its revenues by a staggering 85%.
BearingPoint has been active in the Nordics since the early-to-mid 2010s, when it established offices in the region. The firm’s Danish team operates out of Copenhagen and advises clients across several industries on topics including business transformation, finance, risk, people and change, digital transformation, and technology implementation.
For the Danish team, 2025 has been a year to remember – and arguably one that will be hard to repeat. A look at the company’s Annual Report 2025 shows that revenue in Denmark jumped by 85%, driven by strong demand for financial services consulting.
Throughout the year, the Danish practice expanded its footprint in the Nordic banking sector through engagements with major financial institutions, including Danske Bank and other leading banks.
Within banking, the firm saw particularly strong demand for banking transformation, CFO services, and artificial intelligence. A key milestone in AI was its work with Danske Bank in the financial crime prevention area, where the firm delivered an advanced agentic AI project designed to improve operational efficiency and strengthen investigative capabilities.
Commenting on the project, Rasmus Jungdal, Practice Leader for Denmark at BearingPoint, said: “Our work demonstrates how AI is already creating measurable impact in highly regulated and business-critical environments.”
On the broader growth trend, Jungdal added: “2025 was a defining year for our team. We strengthened our position in the Danish market through significant growth, new client wins, and strategic investments. With a strong team, growing client demand, and a clear direction, we have built a solid foundation for continued growth in the years ahead.”
Strategy 2030
That ambition for continued growth aligns with BearingPoint’s group-wide strategy, known internally as Strategy 2030. The strategy has the bold goal of making BearingPoint the leading European business transformation consultancy with global reach and relevance. It is built on four central pillars – we differentiate, we deliver client impact, we act globally, and we empower people – which guide how the firm runs its business.
“Our ambition is clear: we want to be the preferred business consulting firm in Europe and beyond for our clients and people, leveraging innovative tech solutions and achieving €2 billion in profitable revenue by 2030. We want to be a place where talent grows, innovation thrives, and responsibility is embedded in how we operate,” said Matthias Loebich, Managing Partner of BearingPoint.
Beyond management and technology consulting, BearingPoint also operates two joint ventures: one with IFS and another with ABeam Consulting in North America.
