New BearingPoint platform taps AI to rapidly build customer personas
BearingPoint has launched a new product that helps companies near instantly gain an in-depth understanding of their customer – from their needs and preferences, to behaviors and even potential spending patterns.
The new ‘Persona Engine’ is an advanced AI-driven platform built around customer intelligence, designed to transform how businesses understand and interact with their customer segments.
According to BearingPoint, Persona Engine can rapidly sieve through huge amounts of customer data (with the power of AI) to build different ‘personas’ of clients. A persona is a fictional character that replicates real consumer groups around certain preferences and characteristics.
Teams from among others marketing, sales, product development and innovation use these persona’s to better understand the consumer, to drive personalization and sales conversions, and to improve their products and offerings.
“With Persona Engine, businesses can effortlessly create detailed customer personas with just a few clicks. Leveraging advanced AI algorithms, the platform brings together internal customer data with external sources to build a 360-degrees view of a customer segment, providing a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behaviors,” said Jaco van Zijll Langhout, partner at BearingPoint.
BearingPoint’s platform then allows its users to simulate engagements with these personas, mimicking real-world interactions. “This feature allows businesses to gather immediate feedback and insights, make data-driven decisions, further refine their marketing strategies, and enhance customer engagement,” explained Van Zijll Langhout.
The platform is one of BearingPoint’s latest intelligent tools leveraging AI, and is expected to bring significant value to consumer-facing companies, such as retailers, consumer goods manufacturers, luxury houses, and more. “Developing personas is a difficult and often time-consuming process for marketers. Persona Engine takes care of this in no time.”
Van Zijll Langhout added that key benefits of the tool include better personalization of offerings (which drives up customer experience and sales conversion), higher customer satisfaction (which in turn boosts customer loyalty), and a better track record of product launches (better insights translate to higher success rates).
The development of Persona Engine was led by BearingPoint’s Dutch team, and has already been tried-and-tested at several clients. The tool is now being rolled out across the firm’s 50+ offices worldwide.
